The chemical reaction equation of Sodium Chlorite (NaCLO2) and citric acid (C6H8O7) is: 15NaCLO2 + 4 C6H8O7 = 4Na3C6H5O7 (sodium citrate) + 12CLO2 + 3NaCL + 6H2O. The molecular weight of Sodium Chlorite is 91, and the molecular weight of citric acid is 182 , exactly 1:2.
